Kevin's Party

This was easily one of the weirdest parties I've ever been to. Everyone there (and there were over 20 of us) had 3 things in common and 1 main objective...

We all:- have a keen interest in Science
- live in / around Cambridge
- know Kevin

And we all: - wanted to eat Haggis

The quickest conversation openener was the original "so, how do you know Kevin?", and then "ah, so which area of Science is your PhD in exactly?".... and .... "where do you think you'll go next with it?"

The food was good (if slightly odd) as were the people. But then, what do you expect from a party filled with Cambridge PhD students, and foreign 6-month exchangers? :)
